Yats-- New Orleans locals, so-called because they greet each other with "where y'at?"
Starting last Wednesday:
New York to Norfolk, VA... drove to Baltimore Wednesday night... recovered stolen goods from the cops in Baltimore and went to the zoo Thursday... drove all
the way to Goldsboro, North Carolina by Friday morning when exhaustion forced me to stop and rest... drove to Columbia, South Carolina Friday... spent five
hours walking around Columbia, stayed overnight, went to the South Carolina State Museum Saturday... was underwhelmed... drove to Augusta, Georgia Saturday
where my sister conducted me on a personal tour... drove to Athens, Georgia, stayed overnight, walked around the university and downtown Sunday morning...
drove to Etonton, Georgia, birth of Alice Walker and Joel Chandler Harris, the Uncle Remus/Brer Rabbit guy... bought a lucky rabbit's foot at the Uncle
Remus Museum... drove to Milledgeville, Georgia, the antebellum capital, walked around and looked at old buildings and houses, the movie theater where Oliver
Hardy of Laurel and Hardy worked as a kid... drove to Macon, Georgia, where I currently am. The end.
